Dear Friend:

It's hard to believe it's election time again. It was just 1 1/2 years ago that you gave me your trust and support, and I won election to my first term in the State Assembly.

As you know, prior to that, I worked as a 911 Emergency Dispatcher and served eight years as City Councilwoman and Mayor of Pomona.

During that time, we cracked down on sex offenders near schools and businesses, took tough steps to fight gangs, worked to bring in new businesses and jobs, and implemented neighborhood clean-up, home repair and improvement programs.

As a first-term Assemblymember, I've been a strong advocate for public safety, jobs and economic growth, and aid to distressed homeowners.

Now, as I run for re-election and a 2nd term in the State Assembly, I ask for your support so I can continue working to jumpstart our local economy, strengthen our schools, and keep our community safe.
