Norma Torres, the mayor of Pomona, a 9-1-1 police dispatcher and proud mom of three, is excited to represent the 61st District in the California State Assembly. For decades, Norma has worked to improve the city of Pomona and its surrounding communities. Her record of success handling issues of public safety, economic growth, education and neighborhood improvement established her reputation as a fighter for families and the underserved. Now, Norma is ready to take that fight to Sacramento, where she’ll work to make California’s communities healthy, safe places for families to live and work.
